Welcome Gentle Friend ~

I'm glad you paused to pray with me this morning. . .

"My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up."

Psalm 5:3 KJV

Dear Loving Father,

I am grateful for this day, a day like none other, a day destined for new beginnings.

Thank You for rainbows stretched across the horizon that paint the landscape with hope.

Grant us renewed hope, Lord, as we face uncertainty and fear in our world.

In the stillness, I long to lean closer to sense Your presence and hear Your voice.

Teach me to share my heart's prayer with You, and to look up throughout the day.

I praise You for the gift of this new dawn!

In Christ's name. Amen.

May you be encouraged as you walk the sands of faith.

Dear Gentle Friend~

I often find myself up before dawn dreaming and creating beautiful cards for Soaring Hearts.

In the morning quiet, I draw near to God's presence. Jeremiah 29:13, included in the first card for The Sea Glass Collection, always speaks to me.

"You shall seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all of your heart."

World English Bible

One morning as I prayed, I felt the Holy Spirit nudging me to write my prayer. Several prayers have followed. I call them Mornings by the Sea.

I trust you will pray the prayers shared here, and be encouraged as you walk the sands of faith.

Dear God,

I come before You this morning in reverence and gratitude.

There are so many distractions in this world.

On a sea of uncertainty, tossed about by waves of fear and doubt,

You call to us to keep our eyes on You.

Still my troubled heart, Lord, in the midst of life's noise.

Lift me above the clamor and busyness to rest in Your gentle grace.

I long to seek You and find You

as I search for You with all of my heart.

In Christ's name. Amen.
