God created our beautiful earth. What a loving gift! Take pause with me this morning to lift a prayer of gratitude.
Gracious Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the beauty of the earth that awaits each morning.
How you must love us to have created all of nature and the creatures.
Thank you for surrounding us with unspeakable beauty ...
for dogwood blossoms after rain,
the cheer of birdsong,
and dawn's glorious light.
You understood from the beginning of time
we would need beauty and inspiration from You.
Lord, help us to be good stewards of our beautiful earth.
For Your honor and glory, we pray in Christ's name,
Amen.
